[Wikipedia] Naming, Genus Change: It was first formally described as a new species by the Swedish lichenologist Erik Acharius as Collema spongiosum. Italian botanist Martino Anzi transferred it to the genus Solorina in 1862. (link added by Mary Ann Machi)
