[explorer.natureserve.org] Range: Deinandra paniculata is an annual herb that occurs in Mexico and the United States from south-central coastal California south to northern Baja California. It has a moderately large range, hundreds of occurrences, broad habitat preferences, and tolerance of some disturbance. However, within its range, massive land use changes have occurred and continue to occur, so threats are ongoing. (link added by Mary Ann Machi)
