[Wikipedia] Psyllium Source: It is a common source of psyllium, a type of dietary fiber. Psyllium seed husks are indigestible and are a source of soluble fiber which may be fermented into butyric acid - a short-chain fatty acid - by butyrate-producing bacteria.
