[wildflower.org] Flower Description: Pale greenish-bronze or purplish-green flowers resembling dainty bells hanging in open racemes above several narrow, grass-like, basal leaves.
Flowers tend to turn to one side of the inflorescence and resemble miniature strings of bells, reminiscent of those once decorating horse-drawn sleighs. (link added by Mary Ann Machi)
