Large bright green elliptical ribbed leaves; inflorescences of numerous yellowish-green blooms in tall spikes.
All parts are poisonous to eat.
Sun to partial shade. Moist to dry. Perennial, largest native member of the lily family; grows 3 to 5 ft tall; rhizomatous.
